Together we take responsibility from field to fork

Country : Sweden

Year of establishment : 2001

Formed in 2001 and headquartered in Stockholm, Lantmännen is an agricultural cooperative owned by 17,000 Swedish farmers. It works across the value chain from farming inputs, grain purchasing and animal feed to milling, bakery, food brands, agricultural machinery and bioenergy, with operations in around 20 countries. In 2025 the group reported SEK 59.9 billion in net sales and 10,458 full-time employees. Its portfolio includes Lantmännen Agriculture, Lantmännen Cerealia, Lantmännen Unibake, Scan Sverige, Lantmännen Biorefineries and Swecon, connecting farmer ownership with food production, distribution and rural industry. Its sustainability model is rooted in land management and cooperative governance rather than a standalone technology proposition. Climate & Nature criteria support practical measures such as flower strips, lark plots, buffer zones, legume-rich grassland and natural grazing, while profits are reinvested in Swedish farming, food security and resilient rural economies.

Stakeholder event designed to convene farmer-members, food retailers, public buyers, chefs, NGOs and media around the practical choices behind more resilient food systems. The format combines a field visit, crop and product tastings, moderated discussions on soil, biodiversity, food security, nutrition and fair value distribution, and working sessions that turn shared priorities into commitments. Scope covers concept, host-farm and venue coordination, participant segmentation, invitations, speaker preparation, accessibility, catering, press handling, content capture, partner visibility and follow-up. The programme prioritises evidence from farms and supply chains over speculative technology narratives, with reporting focused on participant quality, commitments, message recall, coverage and qualified follow-up.

Target reporting: 360 invitations; 234 confirmed registrations (65.0%); 205 attendees, equivalent to an 87.6% show rate. The audience would include 58 farmer-members, 44 retail or food-service decision-makers, 32 public-sector and research stakeholders, 36 journalists and creators, and 35 NGO, nutrition and rural-economy representatives. Six working sessions would generate 162 documented contributions and 24 proposed commitments, of which 15 would be accepted for follow-up (62.5%). Deliverables would include 54 edited photographs, 16 short videos, one recap film and 12 interview extracts. The event would target 18 qualified partnership conversations, a satisfaction score of 4.5/5 and an NPS of +49.
