Founded in Germany, DB InfraGO AG is the infrastructure arm of Deutsche Bahn responsible for managing and developing the national rail network. The company oversees rail tracks, signalling systems and operational infrastructure that enable passenger and freight trains to circulate across Germany. Created in 2024 from the merger of DB Netz AG and DB Station&Service AG, DB InfraGO AG centralizes the management of rail infrastructure and stations to improve efficiency, capacity and reliability of the network. Its mission includes modernizing tracks, expanding rail capacity and supporting the transition toward more sustainable mobility. As a key pillar of Germany’s transport system, DB InfraGO AG works with railway operators, public authorities and industry partners to maintain a safe, high-performance network while accelerating digitalization and climate-friendly rail transport across the country.

DB InfraGO AG engaged a targeted international media relations initiative to strengthen visibility around the modernization of Germany’s rail infrastructure and the strategic consolidation of national rail assets. The press relations program focused on positioning DB InfraGO AG as the central infrastructure operator enabling capacity expansion, digital signalling deployment and climate-aligned rail mobility. The campaign developed a structured narrative around network modernization, station redevelopment and infrastructure investment programs, translating technical rail infrastructure topics into clear editorial angles for international economic and transport media. Press materials, executive briefings and sector-specific storylines were prepared to support media outreach and reinforce DB InfraGO AG’s role in strengthening the resilience and performance of Germany’s railway network. The initiative also highlighted the integration of infrastructure management following the creation of DB InfraGO AG, underlining its mission to coordinate track, station and operational infrastructure planning while supporting the long-term decarbonization of European mobility.

The press relations initiative engaged 68 journalists and editors specialized in transport, infrastructure and economic media across Europe. Through targeted outreach and editorial briefings, the campaign secured 21 media publications in sector and business outlets. These publications generated an estimated cumulative audience reach of 14.6 million readers, significantly reinforcing the visibility of DB InfraGO AG’s infrastructure modernization strategy. The program also created 9 executive interview opportunities with specialized journalists and resulted in 34 qualified media interactions, including briefing requests and follow-up editorial discussions. Media coverage maintained a 100% positive or neutral tone, with 5 in-depth feature articles specifically dedicated to the modernization of Germany’s rail infrastructure and the strategic role of DB InfraGO AG.
