Prysmian Group, the world’s number one manufacturer of energy and telecom cables, employs about 30,000 people across 108 plants. It designs, manufactures and installs onshore and subsea high-voltage links, offshore wind cables and ultra-fast optical fibers. Its cable-laying vessels Leonardo da Vinci and Cable Enterprise can install cables at depths of more than 2,000 meters. “Deeper, lighter, greener” innovations reduce weight, increase conductivity and lower carbon footprint. Prysmian supports the energy transition (HVDC, offshore electrification) and 5G-edge connectivity, while targeting operational carbon neutrality by 2035.
For Prysmian Group, the goal was to establish clear positioning on energy and telecom infrastructure and the transition in a highly competitive media environment. Trois Actes led a year-long press mission anchored in “Linking the Future”. After audit and framing, the agency deployed an editorial calendar, clear governance and essential tools: crisis Q&A, a numbers kit, section-by-section pitches and media training. Trois Actes then wrote six press releases and a modular press kit, complemented by op-eds. Activation mobilized a list of 218 journalists and producers. Outcome: around 82 qualified mentions and 16 interviews or direct speaking opportunities, followed by an operational debrief.
