Defend beyond

Country : United Kingdom

Year of establishment : 2013

Founded in Cambridge in 2013, Darktrace is a pioneer of self-learning cybersecurity. Its ActiveAI platform is inspired by the immune system: it models “normal” behavior, detects anomalies, and reacts in real time to neutralize internal or external threats across email, cloud, OT and networks. Its unsupervised algorithms analyze billions of events every day, reducing false positives. The Prevent, Detect, Respond and Heal modules cover the full cycle, integrated into an automated virtual SOC. With 9,000 customers and 150 patents, Darktrace promotes model transparency, GDPR compliance, diversity in cyber, and continuous training - helping organizations defend beyond traditional methods.

In cybersecurity, attention is scarce and noise is constant. For Darktrace, Trois Actes structured an eight-month press mission to build a clear narrative around AI-driven cybersecurity and operational resilience. The anchor: “Defend beyond”, translated into usable messages, proof points and use cases. After auditing communications, mapping spokespersons and analyzing sensitive topics, the agency built a messaging platform, an editorial calendar and clear governance. Tools were produced to sustain the pace: crisis Q&A, spokesperson sheet, section-by-section pitches, a numbers kit, and media training. Trois Actes wrote four press releases and a modular press kit, prepared op-eds, then activated a qualified list of 188 journalists and producers (including Challenges, Usine Nouvelle, Maddyness). Outcome: around 107 qualified mentions and 14 interviews or speaking opportunities, with a final debrief focused on next actions.
