Founded in the UK in 2018, Cazoo set out to transform used-car buying and selling through a 100% digital experience. Search, financing, insurance, trade-in and home delivery are accessible in a few clicks, backed by a 7-day return window and a one-year warranty. After a phase of hyper-growth supported by vertically integrated logistics, the company pivoted in 2024 toward a marketplace model connecting private buyers and professional dealers. Transparency (360° photos, HPI history checks), certified reconditioning and lower-carbon logistics remain central to the promise. Cazoo also supports mechanical training and employability programs, demonstrating that a digital car market can be simple, reliable and more sustainable.
In a market where trust is decisive, Cazoo needed to make online car purchasing credible beyond brand messaging. Over eight months, Trois Actes led an intermediation mission to structure a sponsorship and partnerships program, from prospecting through activation. Framing established the foundations: objectives, audiences, reputational risks, and an opportunity evaluation matrix. A mapping of 39 players was then produced, followed by 17 approaches through contextualized introductions and shared value propositions. Trois Actes managed negotiation (deliverables, usage rights, timelines, KPIs) and delivered activation kits. Monitoring was run through a dashboard (deliverables, visibility, engagement, qualitative feedback). By the end of the mission, two structuring partnerships were finalized, along with a roadmap to extend the most useful alliances.
